Energisa offers discounts of up to 75% for settling debts through the Desenrola Brasil program
To participate, you must have an income of up to 2 minimum wages; debts can be paid in up to 60 installments
[Updated 01/2024] Energisa Group customers eligible for the Desenrola program will have another opportunity to pay their bills on time. The Federal Government has extended the deadline until March of this year, increasing the number of customers who can negotiate their debts with discounts of up to 75% to settle their debts at all of the Group's nine distribution companies. The conditions offered are highly advantageous, with the possibility of paying in up to 60 installments and interest limited to 1.99% per month.
In the current phase of the program, customers who meet the following conditions can apply:
- Be an individual with an income of up to 2 minimum wages (average between January and May 2023) or registered with CadÚnico;
- Have debts that have been negated until 31/12/2022 and that remain active on 28/06/2023;
- Maturity date between 01/01/2019 and 31/12/2022;
- Amount of denial equal to or less than R$ 20,000.00;
- Negotiation through the Desenrola platform, available on the program's official website (desenrola.gov.br).
Energisa's membership of Desenrola reinforces the Group's vision that the best way to provide a quality service is to put customers at the heart of the business. We understand our customers' needs and regularly offer them opportunities to reorganize their financial situation. At Desenrola, as well as having discounts on the debt, the conditions offered in terms of interest and number of installments are very attractive," says Newton Santos, the Group's Revenue Protection Director.
As far as payment methods are concerned, installments can be paid by current account debit, bank slip or PIX. For those who choose to pay in cash, the procedure will be carried out through the platform, with the amount being passed on directly to the creditor.
Joining Desenrola requires the client to register on the government portal and have Gold or Silver certification. The step-by-step process for creating an account is available on the digital government website(https://www.gov.br/governodigital/pt-br/conta-gov-br).
The entire process is done online by the customer themselves, through the official customer service channel. However, with the launch of the program, scammers are creating fake pages and profiles to try to steal personal data and divert financial transactions.
It's important for everyone to be vigilant to avoid scams. The only way to join Desenrola is through the government's website and only financial institutions registered with them are authorized to make installment payments."
