Energisa João Pessoa Cultural Center

Energisa Cultural Plant

Located on the former site of the first substation in the capital of Paraíba, the Energisa Plant is an example of cultural occupation of the typical industrial warehouses built at the beginning of the 20th century.

Since its creation in 2003, the cultural space has hosted more than 5,000 events. Highlights include the Portuguese Language Countries Film Festival (Cineport); the Energisa Visual Arts Award; Fest-Aruanda; as well as nine editions of the traditional Christmas at the Power Station, held annually with the sponsorship of the Energisa Group.

A permanent program occupies the Art Galleries, Music Tent and Vladimir Carvalho room, which are dedicated to the visual arts, music, literature, theater, audiovisual and other languages. The Usina also has the Usina Café and a beautiful outdoor area ideal for festivals and creative fairs.
